I
have to say, that when I first came here to Desi's, I just thought that
it was going to be just another Music Class, kind of dry and quiet. so
I came to class kind of uptight and distant, but I am kind of that way
anyway.
But, when I first came in to the class I thought "what kind of Music
Class is this?" it sure is different, all that Hugging and the singing
before and after class. But, it sure didn't take but a few classes, to fine out, that they are
very warm and wonderful and friendly people, with lots of Pizzazz. And
you still learn a lot, and they are very helpful also. I just love the
class and the people, they are great. It didn't take them long to melt
me down to a Relaxed Person and to fit in. The class is certainly not
boring or dry. It's lots of fun! Keep up the good work.
We'd seen ads for "8 Free Lessons From Desi." Had no idea
who Desi was, but free organ lessons sounded worth checking out. So,
after a phone call and a big purchase of a $20.00 keyboard from a garage
sale, we figured we were all set.
We soon discovered that the lessons were a lot of fun. Desi and his
cohorts (instructors and volunteer helpers) were friendly and made us
feel welcome. Everyone was encouraging and very willing to help the
beginners.
The next step was to decide if we should invest in an organ, because we
were realizing the limitations of the keyboard. About this time Desi was
having a sale of "experienced" organs so we went to look them over and,
of course, bought one. It sure had a lot more to offer than the
keyboard! We're now on our 3rd and - we think - last organ. We've
worked out way up from the keyboard to an American Classic AT45. We're
not a bit sorry about the steps taken to get to this organ.
We've been at Desi's for about a year now and plan to stay with the
lessons. The lessons are fun and we've met some great people. We
highly recommend this experience!

Rookstool of the Apple Valley Studio
When I moved to the
Apple Valley area about three years ago, I am so happy I saw an ad
for Desi's Music. This is where I found my second home and family.
What a wonderful place to learn and play music, have fun, and be
involved with a group of people that are so friendly and encouraging.
Desi and his volunteers greet you at the door with a hug and "glad to
see you". They are always smiling and very helpful. We can
still learn as seniors and music is good for the mind and also for
the soul. Where else can we go to exercise our minds and have so
much fun? Like me have you always wanted to learn to play music. Come
to Desi's Music and try it. You'll love it!
